Becoming healthy physically has been the hardest thing I’ve attempted in my life. It requires me to listen very closely to what my body needs from me.
But I hate it.
And I don’t feel like I’m getting better.
And half the time I don’t listen even when I know I should, mostly because I hate the word “should”. Screw should! I’m sick of should-ing on myself!
I’m not perfect, and I’m perfectly fine with that.
I made this video as my heart was giving me chest pains. I hate this, it scares the crap out of me. I talk about how I got this heart condition and how I’m coping (not very well). And how surfing is both helping and hurting me.

Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I
found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and
said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell
to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside
and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
